Did the Carnival issue cause the New Day to become "same as usual"? Carnival arrives…set up on Clifford Park.

Definitive denial from Press Officer OPM….PM had nothing to do with the issue (Note PM is Minister of Finance!)

Ministry of Health challenged they say they have not been approached.

Carnival people definitive - "We had PM's approval."

And on and on until yesterday, the Press Officer OPM reads a statement from the Minister of Finance - Prime Minister confirming carnival will not be granted permits. Well they were but did not have the all-important health permits.

Bulla, talk about egg all over ones face – New Day bush crack gone!

Yes, if you are over 49, you know the process that the political party in office, usually are the "partners" with carnival and receive a "share of proceeds" means they are "in business" ….require a Business Licence - VAT Tin number, etc, just like everyone else, but did the PLP or the FNM ever comply with this simple requirement?

Not impressed with how the first serious public issue was handled Mr Prime Minister - New Day?
