POLICE in Abaco arrested 28 migrants for suspected illegal landing last week.
According to police, last Monday between 5am and 8am, police, Defence Force and immigration officials executed Operation “Crackdown”.
During the Abaco operation, several people were issued COVID-19 citations while 26 men and two women were apprehended for illegal landing.
They are suspected to be Haitian migrants and were transferred to the Department of Immigration for further investigation.
