Georgia win for Warnock

EDITOR, The Tribune.

As a black Bahamian male, I should be euphoric over the Rev Dr Raphael Warnock’s historic victory for the Senate seat in the State of Georgia, over the Republican incumbent billionaire Kelly Loeffler.

Georgia is a redneck state, having been one of eleven states of the Confederacy under Jefferson Davis, prior to the Civil War between 1861 - 1865. Georgia is a bastion of the Ku Klux Klan, where in certain counties it is unsafe for wandering African Americans at night.

It was in the State of Georgia where Ahmaud Arberry was allegedly gunned down by white racists in February of 2020.

Few American politicos envisaged an African American or any other ethnic minority being a Senator from the State of Georgia. Warnock overcame insurmountable hurdles, especially given the fact that his Republican challenger, Kelly Loeffler, was backed by powerful forces within her political organisation.

In this regard, the Warnock campaign was tantamount to a David versus Goliath scenario, in which, humanly speaking, the odds were stacked against him.

With Warnock winning in Georgia coupled with Barack Obama becoming the first black president of the United States, the dream of Dr Martin Luther King, Jr has become a reality for African Americans.

In this regard, I am happy for Warnock. However, as an evangelical Christian, I have my misgivings about Warnock in Congress.

In fact, I will list five:

Firstly, Warnock is pro-choice, which is a euphemistic way of saying he is pro-abortion.

According to the Bible, abortion is cold-blooded murder.

Secondly, Warnock is pro-homosexual, which means that he is at odds with the Bible that condemn homosexuality.

Thirdly, Warnock supports the Marxist Democratic Party and its liberal platform, which is subversive to Western civilisation, which was built on the Judeo-Christian worldview.

Fourthly, Warnock, despite pastoring the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, is very liberal theologically, in the tradition of Dr Jeremiah Wright and Dr Otis Moss III of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois.

Even King was an outright liberal when it came to the Bible, having been influenced by the likes of Paul Tillich, Walter Rauschenbusch and Howard Thurman.

And fifthly, Warnock, based on 1 Timothy 3:1-7, is spiritually and theologically unqualified to be shepherding God’s flock, notwithstanding his impressive academic qualifications.

My main concern about Warnock is that he will carry his dangerous liberal world view to Washington, where he will shape policies as a powerful legislator.

As Ebenezer Baptist Church pastor, his sphere of influence was limited to thousands. Ebenezer currently has a membership of six thousand.

As senator, however, Warnock will now be able to influence untold millions of Americans. For what it’s worth, Warnock’s theological liberalism is a sad indictment on the African American church.

Warnock is a Demon. Unfortunately Black Americans, and Blacks in general, are too caught up in the specter of racism (constantly stoked by leftist mainstream media like CNN and MSNBC) to realize a demon when they see one. Once the demon is black then there is a false sense of security. Yes, any pastor that teaches murdering babies and marrying homosexuals is okay, is definitely a charlatan. When eugenicist and racist Margaret Sanger established Planned Parenthood to decrease the Black population she specifically searched for stooges in the Black Church, Pastors to push her agenda of abortion among the black community. This Marxist demon "Warnock" is the modern equivalent of those stooges but for the Socialist Democrat agenda. Abortion is the number one killer of American Blacks, so any of these radical leftists who claim to care about "black lives" but support abortion lets you know it's the party they truly care about, not their race. It should tell you all you need to know about their phoney movement and leftists in general.

Why do we try to legislate morality? Sin is sin. A man married 3 times is acceptable, and a man who doesn't interfere in a woman's reproductive decision is a demon.

Abortion is murder, have you ever seen videos of late term abortion? They're killing babies, the baby is clearly visible, alive, formed, responsive and moving. Don't just listen to media talking heads opine about it as righteous for women, go watch it for yourself. Anyone that can watch a video of a late term abortion and still support it is nothing short of a demon... especially a supposed man of God. Nobody in their right mind would support that if they saw the execution, it has nothing to do with "interfering in woman's productive decision" and everything to do with protecting an innocent human being. If you live in a society where it's acceptable to chop babies up then don't be surprised when it turns that demonic energy on you.

Seems you think that this one sin is the only one. My point is all murder is a sin. Bigots, racists, rapists, etc. Or is it just the woman that offends you? Many saw and heard the sins of man and they live with it. You should get some help for your obsession. Look within yourself to find what you think the woman has taken from you and get over it.
