$4,000 marijuana found

Grand Bahama police discovered a quantity of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $4,000 at a residence in the Freeport area on Thursday.

Supt Terecita Pinder reported that shortly after 9pm officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit went to Bass Lane, where they searched an abandoned building and found suspected marijuana, and 52 lives rounds of ammunition.

There was no arrest and investigations are continuing into the matter.
