Safe shopping

EDITOR, The Tribune.

I am happy to read in The Tribune that Mr Rupert Roberts is seriously planning to make his SuperValue foodstores as safe as possible as he and his customers ride out this pandemic killer.

It is understandable that he should not fire a current SuperValue employee from his present job if that employee refuses to be vaccinated against COVID-19, but he can certainly make vaccinations a condition of employment for any new staff he might take on.

For those now on staff who are refusing the vaccine, I would suggest that Mr Roberts get them together, invite a doctor to explain the medical problem to them, and advise them to take the shot.

For those who still refuse to take the vaccine, I suggest that for the protection of himself, his vaccinated staff and his customers, every morning before the unvaccinated staff are allowed into any of the stores, they should be tested at the door for the virus.

If they test positive, then off to the hospital they go – but herein lies another problem.

Who is to do the testing at a private business such as a foodstore?

I would suggest Mr Roberts make enquiries of a doctor and discover if it such tests can be taught to a layman.

If it can then you are in business and for those staff who experience death all around them, and the pandemic getting even closer to them, but still refuse the vaccination, then demand that they take a daily test before entering any SuperValue foodstore.

Also - whether vaccinated or not — I suggest that Mr Roberts make it a rule that everyone employed or shopping in any of his stores must wear a mask.

One cannot be too careful these days. I also suggest that those store owners who institute these safety rules should make their intentions known. It is in such a store that I would feel safe, and to which I would certainly give my business.

July 30 (Reuters) - Three-quarters of people infected with COVID-19 at July public events in a town on Cape Cod in Massachusetts were fully vaccinated, a study by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed.

That was 900 cases in total, 675 vaccinated.

Careful what you ask for shopper. The employees who make 240 per week cannot pay for test. So, YOU WILL PAY, they will increase the prices. LOL.

BTW, ABC nightly news just reported that 4 cruise ship passenger in the Bahamas caught covid and were fully vaccinated.

As a reminder, I hope Reuters and ABC news are not fake news channels.

Pandemic brings out the worst in people. Who would have thought so many tyrants are lurking besides us at the food store.

As if Minnis was not enough.

You are too easy on them!!! They should be tested 3 times per day. You may also recall ar one time Dr Fauci recommending 3 masks, make them wear 3 masks and a face shield. Also they should have to wear two pairs of socks, just in case a new variant comes which transmits thru the feet. It could happen, maybe, and better to be safe.

They should also not be allowed to speak while at work or open their mouths for any reason, and be made to eat their lunches off site. Small notebooks and pens can be used to communicate necessary company info such as "we are out of cornbeef".

The authorities can also put them "in the system" with contact tracing and if any member of their family or anyone in their apartment building tests positive then the employee should be given 2 weeks off without pay to self isolate - just to be safe.

Hygiene is also very important, washing hands is just the beginning. These unvaccinated subhuman idiots should also be subject to an underwear inspection each morning. Wearing clean underwear every day is a sign of general cleanliness and could prove to be an important indicator of health safety. They should be stripped at the door and their underwear sniffed by 3 employees (chosen at random) to see if they pass the sniff test. It is important that those 3 be completely vaccinated because we have heard of symptoms where sense of smell has been lost. If unvaccinated they cannot be trusted to tell the truth, and may lie to protect their fellow unvaccinated misfits.

The vaccine doses are only stable for a limited period of time even when stored under recommended cold temperature conditions. The chemical structure of the bottled vaccine doses breaks down at an exponential rate with the passage of time, to the point where it loses much of its efficacy after about 6 months or so at most. This is why the developed countries are now literally dumping millions of doses on third world 'beggar' countries like The Bahamas.

Millions of Pfizer and Moderna doses manufactured months ago are no longer good enough for US citizens but apparently are considered okay for the citizenry of third world beggar nations like us Bahamians in The Bahamas.

I don't know why politics is playing with humans lives. The vaccine was never to pass animal health trials. So it was authorized by politicians to use on their population. Ask Minnis if the vaccine got FDA approval and in his honesty he will tell you no. But global gangsters politician mafia Bankers are forcing governments hand. All politicians who refused vaccination into their country has been assassinated including Haiti, Tanzania and two others. All nations fully vaccinated saw a surge in deaths after vaccination including here in the Bahamas only after 15%. All over the world deaths and massive hospitalizations occurred after massive vaccination. Ask India.

Can Roberts just use one store where the unvaccinated workers and unvaccinated shoppers can go about in peace?

Keep me as far away from the vaccinated as possible.....God only knows what they may become and what harm they could potentially cause to the rest of us.
