A MOTORCYCLIST died in hospital after he was injured in a traffic accident.
Police said around 9pm on Thursday, an accident occurred at the junction of Marathon and Robinson Roads involving a white Honda Civic and a blue and white Yamaha 450 trail motorcycle.
“The collision occurred as a result of the vehicle travelling north onto Marathon Road from the East West Highway and the cyclist travelling east along Robinson road,” police said.
“The rider suffered serious leg and head injuries and was transported to the hospital from the scene. The Civic received frontal and windshield damage.”
The police said that on Saturday, June 5, sometime around 10am, officers from the Traffic Division received information that the motorcyclist had died as a result of his injuries.
