POLICE in Abaco discovered $20,000 worth of marijuana in bushes yesterday.
The discovery was made shortly after 1am when officers from the Marsh Harbour Police Station, acting on information, went to a bushy area in Central Pines where they conducted a search and discovered several packages of suspected marijuana.
Officers also discovered a quantity of marijuana hash.
The suspected marijuana was taken to the Marsh Harbour Police Station. No arrest was made. The marijuana weighed 19.6lbs and has an estimated street value of $19,600.
The marijuana hash weighed 42 grams and has an estimated street value of $420. An investigation is continuing.
