THE Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association (BLTA) congratulates Patrick Mactaggart on playing well and winning the ACTS Singles UTR 2.5-6.5 Tournament in Key Biscayne, Florida, on February 21.

Patrick had a bye in the round of 32 and in the round of 16 he defeated Luis Soloranzo 4-2, 3-4 (8-10), 4-3 (7-3).

Patrick’s quarterfinals opponent defaulted and in the semifinals, Patrick defeated Marcos Tobi 4-2, 4-2.

In the finals, Patrick defeated the #1 seed Benjamin Tichauer 3-4 (7-9),4-1, 4-3 (7-2) to win the tournament.

Patrick recently won the IC Club Junior Series U12 tournament held at the National Tennis Centre.

Patrick is performing well locally and internationally and we wish him all the best in his tennis journey.
