AT BYD’s Global Headquarters, car owners assembled their vehicles in a choreographed display to celebrate the roll out of their one millionth new energy vehicle this week.
THIS week marks a milestone in electric mobility around the world. BYD produced their one millionth new energy passenger car, which rolled off the production line in Shenzhen, China, on May 19th. To celebrate this historic moment, Easy Car Sales, the local distributor and warranty centre for BYD in The Bahamas, is offering factory rebates to EV buyers through the end of May.
Pia Farmer, Managing Director of Easy Car Sales, stated that customers who purchase a BYD 100% electric vehicle between May 20th and May 31st 2021, will receive up to $800 in rebates depending on the EV model, and a free home charger.
“In The Bahamas BYD owners are living the green dream of driving electric,” stated Mrs. Farmer, “and we are pleased to offer incentives for drivers to ditch the pump and switch to a cleaner, more economical and simply better driving experience”.
BYD is a world leader in sustainable energy, batteries and transportation solutions since 1995, with a presence in over 52 countries. Warren Buffett is a major investor in BYD and the company says their new Blade Battery technology is the most innovative in the market. BYD offers an eight year warranty on their vehicles, and Easy Car Sales provides local technical support and parts at their Gladstone Road location.
