Do we take an apology?

EDITOR, The Tribune.

Should we take a so-called apology from a politician seriously when his actions have put us all in financial jeopardy and even our country?

Wednesday 27th, next probably will be eye opening when the Minister of Finance, Hon Philip Davis, explains our current fiscal financial mess... we will know how bad the stewardship of the outgone Government was? We will find out so many things which, in my opinion, that administration conveniently hid.

Apology? Not good enough for us now or our children and their children.

The report and comments of the Financial Secretary beg an obvious question why did the outgoing administration think that borrowing US $700 million was a sensible solution?

Post the Moody downgrade probably at 8.95% plus, yes, editor, an higher interest rate to the last $600m they borrowed to pay off borrowed money.

Different issue....COVID health safety... if Government Ministers refuse to comply with the basic health protocol of wearing a mask how do you expect the public to? Ministers need to stop their practice, clearly vain, of not wearing masks when being interviewed by the media?

FNM watch out the trick of the treats – Most Hon Hubert Minnis will probably scheme to have an MP supporter nominate for Chairman of the FNM Party... the scheme will be that Minnis will stay, yes stay, as Leader of The Opposition... As Chair of the House Finance Committee he probably will control any in-House investigation of the fiscal and financial administration over the past four plus years... Look who are the seven FNM MPs are they not all – might be less one – loyal Minnis MPs?
