A Haitian man has been charged in the Magistrate’s Court with murder.
Doobensky Antoine, 25, appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt Evans charged with the death of Maurice Fox, Jr, on September 26.
Due to the nature of the charges, he was not required to enter a plea and the case was adjourned to January 19 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment.
Antoine was denied bail and remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services. He has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
