A GRAND Bahama man is dead after a traffic accident on the island on Tuesday.
Police said they received a report before 8pm about a traffic accident in the area of Rand Memorial Hospital.
Once officers arrived on the scene, investigations revealed that a man was driving a blue 2009 Ford Fusion, along with a front seat male passenger, south on East Atlantic Drive when he lost control of the vehicle and ran into the hospital’s entrance wall.
EMS took the driver to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The front seat passenger was not injured.
An investigation is ongoing.
