THREE men who denied being the owners of two loaded guns were yesterday remanded to prison pending a bail hearing.
Police alleged that Patrick Carey, 27, Shepfield Rolle, 25, and Kirk Brennen, 22, were found with two G3C Taurus pistols and 24 live rounds of ammunition on September 11. They further alleged the trio were in possession of a 9mm extended magazine.
During their arraignment before Magistrate Samuel McKinney, the men denied the allegations. They return to court on September 17 for the magistrate to determine whether he will grant them bail before their trial.
Carey, Rolle and Brennen were all taken into custody until that time.
