A 54-year-old man accused of molesting a teenage girl earlier this year was denied bail yesterday.
Oliver Allen was arrested after being accused of indecently assaulting a 15-year-old girl by touching her private parts sometime between February 1 and March 31 of this year.
He was not required to enter a plea to the two charges of indecent assault during his hearing before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
Instead, the accused was told the case will proceed by way of a voluntary bill of indictment.
Bail was also denied and the matter was adjourned to July 6 for presentation of a VBI.
However, Allen has a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail in the meantime.
