By PAVEL BAILEY

TWO men were granted bail after being charged in Magistrate Court’s yesterday on separate charges of causing harm.

Percival Ferguson, 24, appeared in court represented by Ellsworth Johnson before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans on a charge of causing harm.

Ferguson is alleged to have caused harm to Kalei Simmons on April 15 at Frank Edgecombe Street, in Fox Hill.

The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge against him and elected to continue his case in the Magistrate’s Court.

As Ferguson had no antecedents, he was granted bail at $4,000 with one or two sureties on condition that he sign in at Fox Hill Police Station at the last Sunday of each month before his trial.

He was then warned by the magistrate not to interfere with any witnesses in the matter.

His next court date is June 27.

Another man, Tevin Evans, 23, also appeared before Magistrate Vogt Evans on a causing harm charge.

On April 26 at Caspian Road, Evans is alleged to have caused harm to Chardonnay Knowles.

In court, Evans pleaded not guilty to the charge against him. As he also had no antecedents, he was granted bail at $2,000 with one surety on condition he signs in at South Beach Police Station by 7pm on the last Sunday of every month.

He was also told not to interfere with any witnesses in his matter.

He returns to court on June 22.
