A boy was charged in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday with stealing $1227.20 worth of goods from a church.
The 13-year-old, in the presence of his mother, appeared before Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux on charges of stealing and receiving.
He pleaded guilty to stealing a gas jug, gas trimmer, blower and karaoke system from Bahamas Faith Outreach Ministries between August 6 and 8 in New Providence
The magistrate granted the boy $2,000 bail with one or two sureties. He is expected to return to court for a report from social services on November 23.
