A WOMAN was put on a year’s probation by a Magistrate’s Court yesterday after admitting to attacking a man with a beer bottle.
Kendra Sweeting, 35, faced Acting Chief Magistrate Subusola Swain on a charge of assault with a dangerous instrument.
On August 9 at Acklins Street, Sweeting assaulted Levardo Gibson with a beer bottle. In court Sweeting pleaded guilty to the offence.
The magistrate then ordered probation for the accused or risk three months at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services. Sweeting was also ordered to compensate the victim with the payment of $500.
