A GRAND Bahama man is in critical condition after he was stabbed on Sunday.
Police got a report shortly before 8pm that a man had appeared at Rand Memorial Hospital with stab wounds.
The victim told officers that when he arrived at his home, he was approached from behind by an unknown man who stabbed him in the abdomen. The victim said they both fell to the ground where he was able to fight the assailant off and run into nearby bushes.
He then walked to RMH where he was examined by a doctor who listed his injuries as critical.
An investigation is ongoing.
