FOUR MEN were remanded to prison yesterday in relation to firearm and ammunition charges.

Trevor Morris, 23, Travis Curry, 34, Devar Stubbs, 30, and Briston Louis, 37, all appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on charges of possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition.

On June 30 in New Providence, the four defendants were reportedly found with a black Glock 9mm pistol with the serial number erased and 23 live rounds of ammunition.

While all four pleaded not guilty to all charges, the prosecution requested time to review their criminal records before an official bail decision was made.

The defendants’ bail hearing was deferred to tomorrow, July 6.

Until the four men return to court for this hearing they will be sent back to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
