AN AMERICAN tourist was discharged by a Magistrate’s Court yesterday after being found with Indian Hemp.

William Hylton, 41, of New York, appeared before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle Davis on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs.

On July 5 in New Providence Hylton was reportedly arrested for being found with a half gram of Indian Hemp.

In court he pleaded guilty to the charge.

Due to the relatively small quantity of drugs found in Hylton’s possession and his early plea of guilt, Magistrate Rolle Davis moved to discharge him of the offence with a caution.
