A MAN was denied bail yesterday after allegedly assaulting two women with a shotgun and a knife.
Juliano Dorsett, 33, faced Senior Magistrate Derence A Rolle Davis on six charges. These include two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a dangerous instrument, damage and resisting arrest.
On July 7 in New Providence, it is alleged that Dorsett attacked Tiffany Johnson and Goldie Bain with a shotgun and a knife at Bain’s residence. On the same day, the accused is further alleged to have caused $956.99 worth of damage to Ms Bain’s residence in the process of the police trying to arrest him.
He pleaded not guilty.
Dorsett’s trial is expected to start on August 17.
