Two arrested after gun find

THE discovery of firearm and ammunition in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, has led to the arrest of two men.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Stephen Rolle reported that officers recovered a Black Glock .43 pistol and ammunition on Tuesday.

Shortly before 2pm, a team of officers from the Marsh Harbour Police Station, acting on information, executed a search warrant at a residence situated on Albury Lane in Marsh Harbour.

Police conducted a search of the residence but found nothing illegal. The two male occupants then directed officers to a bushy area near the property where the Glock .43 Pistol with seven live rounds of ammunition was recovered.

The two men were arrested and taken into Police custody. Investigations are continuing.
