A MAN was charged in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday for failing to declare money to a US border officer.
Gregory Miller, 48, who was represented by Ian Cargill, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on a charge of failing to declare US dollars to an officer of the United States.
On June 3 at Lynden Pindling International Airport in New Providence, Miller is accused of failing to declare that he was carrying over $10,000 in US currency.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge. With no objections to bail it was granted to Miller at $9,500 with one or two sureties.
Miller’s trial was adjourned to July 6.
