John Knowles, 35, represented by Attorney Ian Cargill, stood before Senior Magistrate Samuel McKinney on charges of housebreaking, stealing and receiving.

On June 1 at Xavier Close, the accused is charged with breaking into Dellanor Smith’s residence and stealing $5,061.93 worth of property.

The stolen items include three laptops, a 43” Samsung Smart TV, a PlayStation, five gaming systems and a controller, two tablets, a Fire stick, a 2TB storage drive, Bluetooth speakers and various electronic tools along with a tool bag.

Knowles is further accused of receiving Smith’s $235 tablet on June 5 knowing the item to have been stolen.
