THE new Crew House on East Bay Street, is the start of something “huge” for easterners, according to the manager of one of the newest full bar and lounge spots.

“This is the only place in the eastern district of Nassau, other than Bay Street Marina, that is going to take over the entertainment spotlight. We have specialty evenings on Tuesday, Fridays and Sundays. On Father’s Day we are incorporating all of our specials into one day. We are exploring the flyers right now and we should have that completed for advertisement for Father’s Day,” said the manager.

To offer both breakfast and lunch items, there will be a coffee bar available for those early morning patrons, as well as grab-and-go options throughout the day and into the evenings.

“We will have breakfast, bagels, muffins, and then transition into lunch where you can be able to get your salads, sandwiches, wraps, pasta salads and smoothies. And the evening time at, we will have bar bites like shrimp cocktail, charcuterie boards, and all those kinds of high-end bar bites for the clientele.

“It is a full bar. And we will be moving into events on the upper deck. Also, we have a lounge area that we will be utilising for clientele.”

Located just below The Poop Deck, the new esablishment’s scenery and atmosphere brings about a calming feeling, especially during sunset evenings.

“It is on the water and the only environment or any kind of bar that is set on the water in the harbour. It is a very peaceful spot where people will want to come and just relax the evening away, have a bar bite, communicate, network and associate with friends.

“We have captains and crew on super yachts coming in that are normally stationed in the harbour. It is really like a hideaway spot for people who want to get away.

“We are going to be doing our very own coordinated specialty drinks, also specialising in margaritas of different flavours. And once the coffee bar is open in about three weeks’ time, we will be specialising in various coffee options. Right now, we are about to print our food menu and we do have some items that are in place but we will be populating that menu within the next week,” said the manager.

He said the whole idea of The Crew House is to be able to provide not only to the corporate crew, but also the crew of all boats. In the near future patrons can look forward to live band entertainment on special evenings.
