A MAN was granted bail in a Magistrate’s Court yesterday after he faced an allegation of indecently assaulting an American teenage girl.
Carlos Morris, 33, appeared before Magistrate Shaka Serville on a charge of indecent assault.
On March 12 at Rose Island, while conducting a tour there, Morris is accused of indecently assaulting the 16-year-old.
In court, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.
As there was no objection to bail and as the complainant resides in the US, $5,000 bail was granted with one or two sureties.
Morris’ trial will will start on September 27.
