JUNIOR national team standout Rhema Collins and her Webb School senior girls varsity basketball programme claimed its second state championship in as many years.

Collins, in her first year at Webb, helped her team clinch the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association Division II Class A championship with a 68-48 win over Middle Tennessee Christian School, Saturday night in Cookesville, Tennessee.

After a 9-6 start to the year, Webb (30-6) concluded the season on a 21-game win streak en route to the title. The Lady Feet’s multi-cultural roster also includes international prospects from Canada, The Dominican Republic and Spain.

Collins transferred to Web from Schoolhouse Prep in Miami, Florida after she emerged as one of the top prep prospects in the state of Florida among her class. Prep Girls Hoops Florida listed Collins at No.15 among the Class of 2023 a the end of the 2021 season when she averaged 16.8 points and six rebounds per game. At the national team level, Collins was most recently a member of Team Bahamas that finished 6th at the FIBA Centrobasket Under-17 Championships for Women in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Bahamas finished the tournament 2-3 overall. Collins averaged a double double at 11 points and a team-leading 10.8 rebounds per game. She also led the team with 2.6 blocks per game.
