THE Bahamas Scholastic Athletic Association continued its 2022 basketball league at The Michael “Scooter” Reid Sporting Complex at the Hope Center on Wednesday.
Results from games played are as follows:
Mini Division
Kingsway Academy 14, Freedom Baptist Academy 5:
Yorick Carroll led Kingsway with 10 points, five rebounds and three steals.
Vernissha Sainthilaire led Freedom with five points and two steals.
Primary Girls
Teleos Christian School 18, Kingsway Academy 1:
Lydia Parks scored eight points with nine rebounds and two steals for Teleos’ dominating performance.
Junior Boys
Jordan Prince William 31, Akhepran Int. Academy 25:
Akari Major paced the Falcons with nine points and three rebounds. Evan Hanna had a game high with 10 points, three rebounds and one steal for Akhepran.
Believers Faith Christian Acad. 27, Freedom Baptist Academy 24:
De’Angelo Smith had a game high 16 points, three rebounds and seven steals for the Believers.
Bradley Williams had Freedom with 12 points, two rebounds, one assist and a steal.
Games are slated to continue today.
