Men’s national soccer team named for friendly tune-up

THE coaching staff of the men’s national development programme have selected the team that will represent the MA in the upcoming international friendly tune-up match in St Martin on March 26.

The team is slated to depart Nassau on March 25.

This game gives both teams the opportunity to play a match as they get ready for the official draw of the upcoming Nations League round of matches which takes place in April of 2022.

The coaching team are fielding a younger team as they transition to the new generation on national team players as envisioned by the number of younger local players.

The team trains nightly 6:30-8:30pm at the Roscow AL Davies Field in preparation for this match. Training sessions have been progressing very well.

Named to the team are Vance Wheaton, Roan Davis, Marcel Joseph, Kenaz Swan, Nicholas Lopez, Isiah Collie, Evelt Julmis, Brandon Adderley, Julio Jameson, Michael Massey, Evens Julmis, Jordin Wilson, Alexiou Cartwright, Adrian Rolle, Derrick Ferguson, Miguel Thompson and Lesly St Fleur.

The head coach is Nesly Jean, assisted by Kevin Davies. The team manager is Larry Minns and the goalkeeper coach is Avery Kemp. Bruce Swan will travel in his first capacity as the new technical director.
