NPSA AGM, election of officers Saturday morning

AFTER postponing because of the restrictions surrounding COVID-19, the New Providence Softball Association has decided to now hold its annual general meeting and election of officers on Saturday, starting at 10 am at the Bankers Field at the Baillou Hills Sports Complex.

It’s anticipated that Desiree Taylor will not be seeking another team in office. Unconfirmed reports reaching The Tribune’s Sports Desk is that Dwayne Stevens, the president of the Bahamas Government Departmental Softball Association, is expected to throw his name in the hat for the top post.

Nominations for all positions will be accepted from the floor. But in order to participate in the electoral process, all members must be financial.
