TWO men were sentenced to six weeks behind bars yesterday for vagrancy.

Ronald Albrice, 45, and Dewitt Hall, 47, were both arrested after officers found them in the East Street area on separate occasions earlier this month.

Police said the men were unable to give a satisfactory account of themselves on the day of their arrest.

During their separate hearings before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt yesterday, both men pleaded guilty and were sentenced to six weeks at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services. However, Hall was further ordered to undergo psychiatric evaluation after he kept talking to himself during his arraignment.
