BGDSA: Softball heats up

DESPITE the down pouring of the rain, the Bahamas Government Departmental Softball Association managed to play a couple of games in the Bankers Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex on Saturday.

In the ladies’ encounter, the BDOCS Keepers knocked off the Electrotelecom Invaders 14-11.

On the men’s side, the RBPF Enforcers dialled up the BTC Ringers 21-9 and the BTC Lasers were leading the PMH Medics 14-2 when their game was halted because of the rain.

The BGDSA, headed by Dwayne Stevens, will be back in action this weekend with a series of games on tap on Saturday and Sunday.
