Watson on disclosures is ludicrous

EDITOR, The Tribune.

The comment from none other than PM press secretary on the non-compliance of many MPs is totally ludicrous... we take that approach then not paying $1bn of taxes we can use the same excuse? Sorry, Mr Watson, out of order.

You admit the candidates before being elected went through training... oh after training they forget?

Too busy to uphold the Law of the land which, Mr Watson, they are part of making... now that’s a great political example...you legislate and then don’t carry out the standing laws or even those you make!

MP financial disclosures by law should be public, it should not be at the discretion of the Disclosure Chairman to disclose or not... compulsory and gazette to boot...what have they to hide? Yes, what are they hiding? What percent of the MPs’ disclosures are actually ever audited to check if they give an accurate picture?

Again putting your foot in the proverbial... remember, unlike the White House President’s press officer, you are only permitted to state the facts, not editorial or personal opinion you are a sign-up civil servant you lost all those open opinioning rights when you left your private job.

General orders also requires all civil servants not to have an additional source of business income.

Time some folks around here understand Law is Law - don’t flaunt it.

Clint Watson is not very bright ............. do not hold that against him.

Now if that was the Brave One, that would be a different story.
