Woman charged with abetment to assault

By PAVEL BAILEY

A WOMAN was granted $3,000 bail in a Magistrate’s Court yesterday following her arraignment for abetting in an assault.

Oleisha “Leasha” Feaste, 20, represented by Wendawn Miller-Frazer, stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans on a charge of abetment to assault with a deadly weapon.

On May 23 in New Providence Feaste is accused of aiding and abetting in the assault of Eldridge Knowles.

In court the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.

As there were no objections, she was granted $3,000 bail with one surety.

Under the conditions of her bail, Feaste is expected to report to the Wulff Road Police Station every Sunday by 7pm.

Her trial is set for July 13.
