A MAN who admitted receiving a stolen car was sentenced to three months in prison yesterday.

Lynden Williams, 25, appeared before Magistrate Algernon Allen, Jr, on charges of stealing and receiving.

On October 30 in New Providence, Williams received a black 2008 Nissan Serena valued at $4,000.

While he pleaded not guilty to the stealing charge, he pleaded guilty to receiving.

The magistrate sentenced Williams to serve three months at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
