TWO men accused of attempted murder were remanded to prison yesterday.

Dino Smith, 28, and Cleophus Smith, 30, appeared before Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr, accused of trying to kill Leonard Symonette on October 23.

The men, who were represented by attorney Nathan Smith, were not required to enter a plea in court and were told that their case would proceed by way of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).

The men were told their case would be heard before the Supreme Court, where they can also apply for bail.

They were remanded to prison as a result and are expected to return to court for presentation of their VBI on February 9.
