A GRAND Bahama man was charged in a Freeport Magistrate’s Court yesterday with attempted murder.
Kinte Simmons, 20, appeared before Magistrate Simone Brown in Court Four. He was represented by Paco Deal.
The matter is in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on October 8 at Eight Mile Rock.
Simmons was not required to enter a plea to the charge of attempted murder.
He was denied bail and remanded to the Bahamas Department of Corrections until February 16, 2023 when a Voluntary Bill of Indictment will be served.
