A 61-year-old man was charged with indecent assault after allegedly acted inappropriately with his ten-year-old granddaughter last month.
It is alleged that between April 21 to 23, the accused slapped his granddaughter’s buttocks inappropriately.
After pleading not guilty, bail was granted to the accused at $7,000 with one or two sureties. The accused was warned not to interfere with the witnesses in this matter.
He appeared before Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux. His trial is set for August 11.
