A 37-year-old man was killed near a bar on West Bay Street on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 12.30am.
Police said the male victim, while seated in a vehicle, was approached by an unknown gunman who opened fire at him. The victim received multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and died at the scene.
On November 16, Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander said major crimes are trending down.
