Now deal with signs and shacks

EDITOR, The Tribune.

If I might piggy back on the resounding result of the Atlantis Aerodrome town hall meeting on Tuesday night. I have never heard people speak so passionately against what was being proposed and I actually had the feeling that what they felt about Fort Montagu is that it is a sacred place.

I would like to see if there is any appetite within the Parks and Beaches Authority for meeting with these same residents of New Providence to discuss the disgrace that has and is taking place at this very same park that we all love and revere so much. I am speaking about the ongoing proliferation of signage and shanty shacks that have been allowed, or even encouraged to be placed any and everywhere on the periphery of the park. I am told that Parks and Beaches has control over these things and will even take a fee to allow someone to erect whatever signage or shanty shack they want.

If the Minister would be so kind as to indicate his most convenient time to meet, I will be very happy to arrange a suitable venue and organise the residents.

Please WhatsApp a good time to meet with us 457-3462 Mr Bonaby!
