A 29-year-old man was imprisoned yesterday after he allegedly raped a 27-year-old woman in Abaco last March.
Magistrate Algernon Allen, Jr, charged Earin Cash with rape and assault.
Cash allegedly assaulted and raped a young woman in Marsh Harbour, Abaco, on March 22, 2023.
Cash was told that his matter would be moved to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI). He will be sent to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.
His VBI is due for service on March 5.
Ian Cargill represented the accused.
