A MAN was remanded to Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre for psychological evaluation yesterday after he allegedly stole a car last Sunday in New Providence.

Magistrate Algernon Allen, Jr, charged Duran Dorcelie, 31, with stealing.

Dorcelie is accused of stealing a white 2013 Honda Accord valued at $4,000 belonging to Denrick Kemp on January 14.

The accused did not enter a plea to this charge, as it was noted that he has a history of mental illness. Dorcelie will be remanded to the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre until July 18, when he returns to court for a psychological report.
