A 33-year-old man was remanded in custody yesterday after he was accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl in New Providence last Friday.
Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans charged Cashard Smith with unlawful sexual intercourse.
Smith allegedly had unlawful sexual intercourse with an underage girl on March 15.
The defendant was told that his matter would be transferred to the Supreme Court through a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
His VBI is set for service on April 22.
