Man accused of having a loaded firearm remanded

A MAN was remanded in custody yesterday accused of having a loaded firearm in New Providence earlier this month.

Magistrate Lennox Coleby charged Bradley Charlton, 34, with possession of an unlicensed firearm and possession of ammunition.

Charlton was allegedly found with a black Glock Austria .17 pistol and 13 rounds of 9mm ammunition on March 2.

After pleading not guilty to the charge, the defendant was informed that he would be sent to prison until his bail hearing today.
