New edition of 'A Little Bahamian Cookbook' now available

BACK in 1989, local artist and art educator Sue Bennett-Williams was approached by the owner of Appletree Press in Dublin, Ireland, to create illustrations for a small cookbook that would be introduced as a part of a series.

Fam Fest 'best ever'

OF ALL the events in its 19-year history, this year’s Fam Fest was “the best one ever”, according to founder William Mark Cartwright.
The three-day family festival is built on the foundations of Bahamian gospel music and clean fun. Due to a forecast of inclement weather it was held at the William Thompson Auditorium on Jean Street instead of Fort Charlotte.
