JONATHAN BUTLER, 71, of Rosewood Street, Pinewood Gardens and formerly of Moss Town, Exuma, who died on April 16th, 2012, will be held on Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church, Market Street and Coconut Grove. Officiating will be Rev. Diana Francis. Interment will follow in Souther Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads.

Left to cherish fond memories of his life are his Wife: Carmelita Butler; Three Children: Dwayne, Devon and Monique Butler; Adopted Son: Junior Thompson of New York; Two Adopted Daughters: Opal and Jenny Anglin of New York; Two Daughters-in-law: Alison Thompson and Aceline Butler; Eight Grandchildren: Dorico, Raheam, and Adalia Butler, Kasean Taylor, Ayla, Hailey, Nzoni and Makeda Thompson; Five Sisters: Ivy Davis, Carolyn, Sybil, Elizabeth and Essie Butler; Four Brothers: Bennie, George, Junior and Super Butler all of the United States; Two Aunts: Aremina and Pearl Musgrove; Eight Nephews: Rodney Butler, Otis and James Rolle, Eddison Butler, Andrew Blatch, Gurth, Omar and Davaro Butler; Six Nieces: Gloria Rolle, Elisa Prosper, Anya Butler, Marina and Tabitha Butler, Maureen Pratt; Grandnephews: Anthony and Dario Butler, Demetrius and D’metri Fowler, Shandon Coleby, Malique Butler, Antonio Adderley, Marvin Rolle, Terrance Neely, Kevin Rolle; Grandnieces: Quetel Butler, Vantasia Butler, Audrea McKenzie, Lakesha Fowler, Kenya Williams, Daronique Johnson, Raquel Butler, Tanya Harvey, Marachel Pratt, Naomi Adderley, Samantha Neely, Shonnell Rolle and Ashley Prosper; Sisters-in-Law: Ovril, Lighty, Lynette, Phyllis, Jenny, Yvette and Annette. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street off Market and East Streets on Friday from 10am to 6pm, Saturday at the church from 10am until service time.
