A memorial service for the late Ella Rowena Cates, 64, of Mount Royal Ave. will be held at Pinder's Funeral Home on Friday, August 24th at 7:00pm. Pastor William Pratt officiating, assisted by Patricia Coakley Deveaux.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise Woodhouse; three sons, Dennis Murray Cater 111, Lawrence Cates and James Oscar Cates of Chicago Illinois; three granddaughters, Majorie Glinton, Shaslica Aflord and Kristen Cates; three grandsons, Mar, Jonathan and Dennis Brice; two great granddaughters, Shionte Woodhouse and Sanae Aflord; one daughter-in-law, Carol Cates of Chicago Illinois; three sisters, Catherine Malone, Violet Roberts and Josephine Saunders; three brothers, Ronald Key, Eddie Key and Philip Key; three brothers-in-law, Audley Roberts, Philip Pinder and Derick Saunders; five sisters-in-law, Cindy Key, Sandra Key, Julia Key, Brenda Key and Christine Key; two aunts, Martha Albury and Hazel McBride; two uncles, Daniel Lowe and Billy Lowe; numerous nieces and nephews including, Bobby Brice, Vain Key, Alvis Key and Atoricio Deveaux; Softball Camp.
