Funeral Service for Retired Customs Guard Garnett Dupuch “Smoky” “Dada” Thompson, 73 years of James Cistern, Eleuthera, will be held on Saturday December 8th, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Wesley Methodist Church, James Cistern, Eleuthera. Rev. Kenya Lovell assisted by Rev. Godfrey Bethell and Pastor Henry Whyte will officiate. Interment will follow in the James Cistern Public Cemetery.

Cherished Memories are held by: Wife: Rosemary Thompson. Daughters: Maisie Pinder, Rhonda Rolle, Yvette Carey and Donna Davis. Sons: Johnny, Orlando, Quincy and Anthon Thompson. 22 Grand-Children: O’Neil Roach (pre-deceased), Sheena, John Jr., Shayne Thompson, D’shanti, Deandra, Malikah and Myeasha Pinder, Mashana McCardy, Ashley, Leronda, Mya and Sy’Rai Rolle, Hadassah Thompson, Yasmine, Zian Thompson, Daniel, Alanna and Allen Jr. Carey, Daryl Jr., Levi and Ethan Davis. 3 Great-Grands: Shawnae Bethel, Kayla and Unique Thompson. 3 Daughters-in-law: Ruby, Clarice, and Betsy Thompson. 4 Sons-in-law: Daryl Davis Sr., Dwight Pinder, Byron Rolle and Allen Carey. 8 sisters: Marjorie Foreman, Pandora Johnson, Anne Sears, Dollie Thompson, Ruth Thompson, Mary (Mae) Thompson, Sally Forbes and Virginia Minnis. 3 Sisters-in-law: Freda Mayne, Lisa and Mattie Johnson. 4 Brothers-in-law: Henry Sears, Bennett Minnis, Milton and Cleveland Johnson. 1 Uncle: Leon Johnson. 2 Aunts: Louise Bosfield and Maria Johnson. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34A Nassau Street on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church (In James Cistern) from 7:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
