Funeral service for Evelyn McPhee-Knowles aged 77 of High Rock, South Andros and formerly of Black Point Andros, who died on May 28th, 2012, will be held on Sunday, June 10th, 2012, at 10:00am, at Grant’s Town Seventh-day Adventist Church, Wellington Street off Baillou Hill Road. Officiating will be Pastor Peter Joseph, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Old Trail Cemetery, Soldier Road. Sister Evelyn Knowles will be lovingly remembered by her son: Basil Johnson; daughter-in-law: Cosette Johnson; grandchildren: Nkrumah and Sanya Johnson; great grandson: Samson Francis; numerous nephews and nieces including: Wilfret Taylor, Rupert Taylor, Olga Clarke and Family, Vera, Corinne, Rosy Taylor, Thomas and Eugene Taylor, Lee Barr, Myrtis Lamma of Texas, Orion Wilchombe of Grand Bahama, Earnest, Cyril and Cleveland McPhee, Norma, Isadora and Vera Rahming, Wenzil King, Cecelia, Clara Evans, Alberta Williams, Geneva Mortimer, Ethel Sands, Roland Evans, Christine, Nora, Shirley Miller, Audley Rahming, Veronica McPhee, Anthony Greene, Jackie McPhee, Wylat and Daphne Evans, Ernestine, Judy and Melanie; Prayer Partners: Peggy Pinder, Virginia Idah, Grace Flowers, Jestina Hanna, Loreen Miller, Thelma Marshall and Peggy Francis. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Streets off Market and East Streets on Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm, Sunday at the church from 9:00am, until service time.
