Funeral service for Deacon Alexander "Special" Saunders, 72 yrs., a resident of Murphy Town, Abaco & formerly of Bluff Point, Abaco, who died on 20th May, 2012, will be held at Bethany Gospel Chapel, Forrest Drive & Southside Rd., Murphy Town, Abaco, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Bert Livingstone Jr., assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Murphy Town Public Cemetery.
Left to cherish his memories are his Six sons: Alvin Laing, Tony Knowles, Ricky Laing, Randy Curry, Larry & Brian Saunders. Six daughters: Sandra Laing, Elizabeth Curry, Ethelyn Darville, Roselyn, Terry & Tamara Saunders; Grand Children: Evante’, Vanissa, Andres, Nathan & Nicholas Darville; Larranique, Jordan & Larriell Saunders; Tinaj Newbold; Jewel, Melissa, Angelo & Achaz Davis; Charlene Brice; Shakera Williams; Felicia Swain; Merrick, Kareem & Leslie Jr. Parker; Tonisha and Tionaia Knowles; Alrick & Alvano Laing; Randy Curry Jr.; one brother: Jacob Saunders. Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 1-6:00 p.m. on Thursday & on Friday at the church in Abaco from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday.
